Professional Experience

 

Presently based at Kolkata, India permanently employed with  a over 120 years old U.K. based MNC diversified group having operation in over 150 countries and looking after marketing of one of the group company  in the states of the country. I am employed one of the group company GULF OIL Corporation Limited, again a diversified company having many divisions. The company has a turnover over Rs. 30000 crore.

 

Launched a division of the group from scratch at Hyderabad and designated as National Sales Manager. Thereafter, I shifted myself to Kolkata to concentrate at markets at Eastern & North zones. Involved in selection of product portfolio, manufacturing, pricing, packaging, supply chain management, recruitment, preparing marketing strategy, setting up marketing network, looking after both retail and institutional business.

 

Reporting to the Vice President (Operation)

 

 

Before that worked for ELF brand, a reputed highly diversified French company in petrochemical sector and employed as Sr. Executive (AGM rank) with Pennar group, a Rs. 500 crore South Indian based group looking after both Environment, Marketing of Pollution Control products.

 

Earlier worked for Alembic Limited, a century old a reputed pharmaceuticals company having interested in diversified field like chemicals/FMCG /OTC/ heavy engineering/glass etc. market segments for 20 years with turnover of over Rs.3000 crore.

 

Started my career in Mount Mettur Pharmaceutical Limited, of the Chennai based Mettur group. The Rs.500 crore groups has been operating nationwide for more than 50 years.

Ø      Managed over 2500 qualified employees of multicultural background and qualification, like graduates engineers, MBA, other post graduate employees and also employees in workmen category.
