Welfare Sociology (Master of Sociology)

Our Programme is aimed at the preparation of sociology graduates, experts in social welfare who wish to deepen their knowledge in sociology and acquire an in-depth understanding of key conceptual debates and social policy trends in cross-country perspective. Participants of this programme will be able to enhance their skills in development and implementation of social projects and programmes as well as benefit professionally and academically.

   

Welfare Sociology Master’s Programme is an interdisciplinary study course that falls into three distinct parts. The first of these addresses a variety of sociological issues within a broader socio-economic context, the second deals with the core social policy epistemological issues and the final one focuses on the research.Welfare Sociology Master’s Programme meets the needs of both the EU and non-EU member states’ students, with a consideration of rapid social changes in Europe and increasing globalization process.
