New Technology Law (Master of Law)Program description
New Technology Law Master’s Programme focuses on key legal issues posed by information and knowledge society – new legal phenomena (Internet, e-commerce, e-media, e-governance etc.) as well as newest technological decisions (nano-, bio-, trans-, media- etc.). The aim of this Master’s programme is to enable the graduates to scope with the various questions concerning New Technology Law in private and public sectors. Therefore, it is not just teaching the existing legal frameworks on New Technology Law, but also encouraging critical appraisal of them. The Master’s programme participants get a profound knowledge of the latest developments in New Technology Law, its areas of applications and its realization in practice. The study programme aims at preparing the students for multijurisdictionary practice in the increasingly important field of Information technology law, as well as enhancing performance in traditional fields of law through introduction to modern legal techniques and solutions provided by IT. This program is created under recommendation of EULISP – CDA (European Universities Legal Informatics Study Program) project and is implemented jointly with University of Zaragoza (Spain), University of Rovaniemi (Finland).
