MA in International Legal Affairs

Students will be well equipped to operate in the legal field in Italy and other European countries, in both the private and public sectors.  This two year programme offers the student a profound understanding of the Italian legal system with the recent modifications following the reform in this sector following guidelines for the harmonisation of a European-wide legal system.

The programme is based on the three year Bachelor programme and it gives the candidate a sound, pragmatic preparation through extensive use of a case-study methodology and practical approach to the problems and complexities of the legal system in the process of reformation and change. The programme also includes a period of practical stage in a professional or a legal studio or in leading consulting companies and in-depth study of specialised English language as applicable to the legal sector.

Teaching consists of lectures, case-based workshops, interactive seminars, individual tutorials, labs activities and stages.

• Final dissertation

It guarantees that the academic degree may be achieved within the prescribed time.For this reason it is obligatory to attend all the lessons and if any exam were not passed, students can receive the assistance of a tutor to integrate the preparation in order to repeat the exam in a short time.It is a challenge that each student through adequate support will not remain at the University even a day more than it is prescribed by the study programme.
