Front Office Guest Service Agent Paid + free flight ticket The Delta lodge at Kananaskis is looking for experienced Front office Guest service persons to work in Canada under the temporary foreign worker program for a period of 2 years.
Applicants will have the $150 visa cost of a Canadian work visa, as well as the cost of travel expenses to Canada refunded t provided you remain with the company for the full 2 year period.
Applicants will be encouraged after 2 years to stay with the company however if you want to return home we will pay for your return airfare also.

Note: Our property is very isolated in the heart of Canada’s Rocky Mountains, 30km from the nearest town, so applicants must love nature and the outdoors as much as you love working in the hotel and resort business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide courteous, professional and attentive guest service at all times
· Promote The Lodge and surrounding area and activities
· Maintain a good working relationship with all departments
· Follow up of all guest requests/concerns.

· Establishing a personal rapport with the guest in order to learn about their needs and expectations.
· Actively seek feedback from guests, following up and taking action to exceed guest expectations, whether that is to wow the guest, or in service recovery.
· A personalized touch during all guest interactions to ensure they feel welcome and special.
· Strong and effective communication with all other departments, and strong teamwork required between all inter-related departments (Housekeeping, Conference Services, Tours, Accounting, etc).
· Knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures.
· In-depth knowledge of theKananaskisValleyand surrounding area, to Share the Adventure and create the unrivalled Kananaskis guest experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: · Able to read, write and understand English (French or other languages is an asset) · 2 guest services experience
· Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions.
· Previously demonstrated commitment to exceeding guests’ expectations at all times..
· Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Resort Management is greatly preferred.
· Must be computer literate, with experience in Windows 98, Internet, Excel Spreadsheets and Outlook. Prefer experience with Lanmark and WinAi.
· Professional in presentation and demeanor.
· Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills and the proven ability to work well under pressure.
· Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
· Must be Health & Safety conscious.
· Must enjoy working in a team environment.
· Must be willing to work variable shifts
· Must possess a solid knowledge of theKananaskisValley, and Live the Adventure (to Share the Adventure).

The Hotel:
The Delta Lodge at Kananaskis is located one hour west of Calgary, 40km from Canmore and about 40 minutes to Banff in the heart of Kananaskis Country, surrounded by lakes, mountains and forest. The Kananaskis village has no permanent residents except those that work for the hotels and activities companies. There is just one hotel, one store and post shop, two bars and a few restaurants and gift stores within the hotel. If you come here you will live and work with the same people on a full-time basis and are about 30 minutes from the nearest township of Canmore (we do operate shuttle services to Canmore for banking and shopping etc..) The Village is located in the centre of the 4000 acre Kananaskis Country, one of eight provincial parks and wildlife areas, including Banff and Lake Louise in The Rocky Mountains. It is an outdoor and adventure centre with cross-country and alpine skiing at Nakiska ski resort (just 5 minutes from the hotel), site of the 1988 Olympic Alpine events and training ground for Canadian, German, Norwegian and Swedish ski teams and is home to golf courses, ranches and many other summer outdoor pursuits.
The Delta Lodge at Kananaskis is the largest employer in the village and is a full service, first class hotel. The property built in 1987 for the 1988 Olympic Winter Games and since then has continued to host visitors from all around the world who come to enjoy the pristine beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
